Product Information
The AMS1117 linear voltage regulator SOT-223 is a series of low dropout three-terminal voltage regulators. In addition to fixed versions with Vout = 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V and 12V, the AMS1117 is also available in an adjustable version, providing output voltages from 1.25 to 12V with just two external resistors.
AMS 1117 provides thermal shutdown and current limiting functions to ensure the stability of the chip and power system. It comes in a SOT-223 SMD package, and pin-compatible with other three-terminal SCSI regulators.
