OB25133QCPA Chipset

OB25133QCPA, a high-performance offline PSR power switch designed for low-power AC/DC charger and adapter applications, operates through primary-side sensing and regulation. Notably, it eliminates the need for an opto-coupler and TL431. The figure below illustrates the integration of proprietary Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) control.

In CC control, external adjustment of current and output power settings is possible using the sense resistor Rs at the CS pin. For CV control, multi-mode operations achieve both high performance and efficiency. Additionally, built-in cable drop compensation ensures good load regulation. The device seamlessly operates in PFM in CC mode under large load conditions and switches to PWM with frequency reduction at light/medium loads. With very low operating current consumption, the chip achieves less than 75mW standby power.

OB2513xQ provides comprehensive protection coverage with auto-recovery features, including Cycle-by-Cycle current limiting, VDD overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, built-in leading-edge blanking, VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), OTP, etc.
